Chapter Nine

Kissing Colton in my car the first time had almost given me a heart attack.

Blowing him in my classroom had probably taken ten years off my life.

So by those standards, letting him inside my house is pretty tame. It would almost be boring, except it’s Colton, and just being near him is exciting enough for me.

But even though I’m not worried about anyone seeing us here—making it by far the safest encounter we’ve had in the past couple of days—it feels dangerous in a completely different way.

This is my house. My personal space.

It’s intimate.

Seeing him here, in my living room, surrounded by all of my things makes this feel like something a lot more serious than just a random hook-up.

And it sort of is more serious, even though we definitely haven’t discussed it. We haven’t even really discussed the hook-up part if I’m being honest.

“Have a seat,” I say, nodding toward the couch and hoping I sound a lot less nervous than I actually feel right now. “Are you hungry? Have you eaten?”

He shakes his head, easing himself down onto the edge of my sofa cushion without breaking eye contact. His big, green eyes are so wide and innocent that I’m immediately hard just looking at him—even though I know for a fact that he’s not quite that innocent anymore.

“I didn’t want to risk being late, so I just…” His voice trails off as he shrugs. “I’m not that hungry, though, so it’s okay.”

His stomach growls and his face instantly flushes, giving away his little lie.

I grin. “Oh, yeah? Well, I’d make you something but I have to confess I’m not much of a cook unless you like mac and cheese. But how about if I order us a pizza and then we can just chill for a bit?”

“Okay,” he nods. “That sounds good. Really good, actually.”

I catch his eyes as they quickly move down my body before finding my gaze again. I wonder if he’s as eager for tonight as I am. I wonder if he’s been thinking about what we did earlier today ever since he walked out of my classroom.

I’ve already jerked off twice more at work just from remembering the way he looked at me, the way he tasted, the way he gave himself over to me so willingly and completely.

And now he’s looking at me like that again. A clean slate, wide-eyed and ready for me to use.

Jesus Christ, this guy is going to be the death of me.

But fuck, it’ll be worth it.
